The organizers of Semiofest Warsaw (May 20–23 2026) have issued the following call for contributions.

Theme: Viscosity

Viscosity belongs to the language of physics, but it also offers a way to think about contemporary culture — neither solid nor liquid, neither fluid nor fixed, but characterized by thickness and stickiness.

We invite you to explore viscosity as an open theme in relation to applied semiotics, and how it manifests itself in marketing, branding, culture, education, creativity, natural life and more.

This year, we welcome proposals in three formats:

• Presentations
• Ludic Workshops
• To the Point (short, engaging form)
