Victoria Gerstman

Dr. Victoria Gerstman is an independent semiotician and cultural insight specialist. She began her career in media agencies in New York and London before leaving industry to pursue a doctorate. In 2018 she completed a PhD in Culture, Film, and Media and from there joined a boutique insights agency. Independent since 2023, she partners with direct clients, agencies, and other types of organisations across global markets. She particularly enjoys applying semiotics and cultural analysis to tech, healthcare, and entertainment industry challenges. After living in Miami, New York, Sapporo, Chicago, and London, she now calls Edinburgh home.
