Making Sense
"Make abstract ideas and observations clear, without losing the rigour or wonder of whatever ideas you had in the first place. "
Pierre Lee is a French-Singaporean independent consultant, Human Geographer and writer at heart, currently based in Toronto, Canada. He most recently worked for the semiotics & cultural strategy firm Space Doctors and was previously at the cultural strategy firm Gemic. He applies an inter-disciplinary approach – drawing from ethnography, qualitative interviews, archival work, and semiotics – to research, advise on and execute projects which have spanned the domains of F&B, CPG, luxury, automotive, tech, and media & entertainment. He has dipped his toes in ‘zero-waste’ fine dining and contributed to edited volumes on French WW1 soldiers engraved on the Singapore Cenotaph, as well as the life and work of anthropologist Edward Evans-Pritchard through the lens of his ‘care box’.
