Cathy Maisano

Cathy Maisano is a trained semiotician and ethnographer, who has a long-term interest in the physical spaces we live and dwell. Her career spans over twenty years (in market, social and academic research) and is dedicated to understanding what we value in our cultures and what drives us as humans. Cathy believes that ‘place’ matters – that place is storied, and stories are placed, so she founded Cradle Spaces to help clients better ‘explore the where’. To think about their business, brand and personal challenges through physical built environments. She lives in Australia with her family and adorable labrador, and in her spare time writes a children’s book series about saving beautiful beaches of the world from environmental ruin, called The Paradise Beach Mysteries.
