Inka Crosswaite applies semiotic and anthropological theory to the analysis of brand communications and brand positioning to reveal and comprehend how cultural meanings evolve. Before founding IC Semiotics in 2013, Inka was a Senior Consultant for semiotics/cultural insight at Added Value for eight years. Prior to joining Added Value, she was a lecturer and researcher at UCT and at the University of Stellenbosch, specializing in semiotics, gender and cultural studies.
